2nd Extraction Marigold Beanie

THE STORY: 

In 2022, Fonta Flora Brewery grew and harvested marigolds at Whippoorwill Farm in Nebo, NC for our very first batch of naturally-dyed beanies that sold out in 4 hours in December of 2022.

In 2023, Solid State Clothing developed a new buttery yellow natural dye in Burlington, NC using a second extraction of the marigolds from our 2022 run.

Material Return knit COLLECTION beanies in Morganton, NC using landfill-destined 100% wool yarn rescued from a mill in NC.

Opportunity Threads sewed the tags on the beanie in Morganton, NC.

Please note, because of the natural dye process, there may be variation in color from beanie to beanie!
